This is an early Mercedes 240D application using a turbine housing
integrated into the exhaust manifold. On the left shows the
Aerocharger mounted in the vertical.

engine that makes 270 in production form.

Modified,
turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine. The 3500 sequential-fuel-injected
motor now pumps out 230 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 286 lb-ft of
torque at 2900 rpm. The increased power is due in large part to
an Aerocharger 53000 series and a unique high-flow air
box.
